This week in Audrey World: 7
Apr. 30th, 2018 11:34 amI've been trying to post this for about a week, starting Monday when I wrote, "I finally was able to pick up Issue 9 from the printer today." Then I spent the week shipping magazines, which should be predicable, but — Everything dragged out so long I didn't really have a gap in my schedule for shipping, so it ended up squashing a lot of other things I was doing.
With generous help from friends, I'm trying to get our garden cleaned up enough to plant a few things. I had to give up on it last year during the period of extreme family chaos, and at least the garden structure has enough definition I'm not just dealing with an endless field of weeds. It's a well-shaped field of weeds instead! With a oat patch. Ask me about the oats sometime.
I hate to use the word "drama" for personal chaos or strife, but I don't know what else to call the ongoing problems I've had with shoe-buying and pharmacies. The pharmacy mess took up half of Thursday, and I'm going through sneakers so fast that every couple of months I'm back to trying to find something else that works. The latest attempt is Altra and I really could use a sponsorship. $130 every 2-3 months is hard to keep up without a tech salary.
Back to the grind, or perhaps the hustle. Today's agenda includes shipping, NET drill prep, and a bunch of editing/writing/email stuffs.
